recommend an apartment in Hoboken near path station? (Jersey City: apartments, rentals)

My gf works in midtown and I work in NJ. We are thinking of looking for an apt in hoboken near the path station (within walking distance) so that she can take path to midtown and I can take path to secaucus. I've searched online for a few of them (e.g. the 333 river street, hudson square north/south, observer park) with mixed reviews. Any recommendations?
How about the Xchange at secaucus juntion?

The only probably with the Xchange is , its in the middle of no where and will be intill the master city by Rail is built which is 20 years out... You could live in Jersey City near the Historic Downtown or Exchange Place PATH.

@Nexis - how is secaucus as an area to live in? is the neighboorhood around xchange apartments and the town in general safe? the train station area...is it safe to walk to/from to it?

As Nexus says, the Xchange apartments are the middle of nowhere. They're right next to the train station, no problem walking to it, but there's nothing else around except warehouses and such. IMO they should have pitched them as short term rentals for companies too cheap to put employees up in Manhattan, rather than as regular apartments.
