Full disclosure: I do not in any way benefit from this. I am merely passing it along as information for people to be aware of.

For those who may not be aware, the 20th Annual Spring Flower Fair will be in full "bloom" starting Friday, May 11 at the Rutgers Gardens just off Ryders Lane in East Brunswick.

The Rutgers Gardens holds this event each year as a way to connect with those in the State of New Jersey who appreciate plants, gardening, and the beauty of the outdoors while garnering support for the efforts of the Gardens through donations and the sale of various plants. Each year the event includes a wide assortment of rare, unusual and beautiful varietals of plants for sale. Gardeners will definitely find this to be time well spent.

The event is far enough away from Downtown New Brunswick and High Point Solutions Stadium so you won't get caught up in Graduation traffic.

For more information, feel free to click on the link below.

Thank you for posting this. Are you familiar with the gardens? I've been thinking of visiting there with my toddler. Can you spend some time wandering there? I was thinking of going when the Farmer's Market starts up.

I'm always looking for new, outdoor things to do and it's free-ness appeals to me. LOL

Thanks Kracer. Indeed, Rutgers Gardens has a number of great places to enjoy.

The Farmer's Market actually started up last Friday. The fresh vegetables and food is excellent.
