I was hoping that the Xanadu plans they had for that area would come to fruition, but the Mills Corporation bailed out of that one. Too bad, it was a great concept.
Lacoste is definitely having a come back. Have you seen the price of a Lacoste polo shirt lately? The IZOD part of the label went "cheap", or "inexpensive" a few years ago.

ewwwwwwwww I despised that cheap imitation. I saw them, too in Boscov's if I remember this summer. They were the American's answer to La Coste. This Spring I wanted to pick up a few of the Izod polos in white for my daughter that needs them for work so I went to my favorite at home store, E-Bay. I was confused because some said made in Peru, others said made in China. I ended up skipping them and just getting the Ralph Laurn ones. Today I went to Izod's website and come to find that they are made in Peru. Not only that but the Van Heusen company owns Izod now. In 1993 Izod lost the rights to use the " La Coste" name becuase there was feud as to where to manufacture the clothing. The original La Coste family wanted it to remain in France, and when that failed to happen they left. Now isn't that ALL you could possibly ever want to know about Izod? Oh, yea and don't forget to "pop" those collars.
