There are no mountain lions in NJ, but in 1996 there was one misguided moose:

Yep, that moose is for real...my bud who is a biologist for the state told me about that one.

ActUALLY MOOSE-ELK DID RoaM THE HILLS Of nj.. see the critters full skeleton in the NJ stae museum in Trenton.

From across the room you will ask yourself 'what the heck is that...a moose-elk?

Critter was dug up in a bog in Sussex co.
