If you can't afford car insurance, then you should not be driving.

I don't understand the question. What's wrong with calling up NJM and telling them to sign you up?

NJM is New Jersey Manufacturers.

You made no attempt to clarify your question. I still do not understand the question.

What is wrong with it is that the OP might be one of the huge percentage of the population that is not qualified for coverage by NJM.
You must work for an employer that is a member of the NJ Business & Industry Association in order to qualify for coverage. Perhaps the OP works for one of these member companies, but...maybe not. She would have to check with the Human Resources staff at her place of employment in order to determine whether or not the company is a member of the NJBIA.

NJM is New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, a private insurance company which is consistently rated #1 in the country by Consumer Reports. This rating is due to its favorable rate structure, excellent claims-paying record, and its all-around customer service.

Just because an organization has the initials NJ in its name, that does not necessarily indicate that it is an agency of the state government.

I work in auto claims...the dollar a day policy is terrible anyway, since it only covers your medical bills and no liability insurance. NJ Cure is good for people who can't afford a high premium.

I suggest shopping around, finding the best quote.

"who said i was driving..its YOUR future, not mine...YOU will be paying the high premiums, not me"

This doesn't make any sense...if you are not driving, why are you looking for auto insurance?
