My opinion of those counties, having lived my whole life in NJ, is that I have no opinion of them.

Bergen is close to NYC and has something for everyone-shopping, nature, restaurants, the more affordable southern part, the wealthy northern part. Homes range from high rise apartments to estates on vast average. There is a reason Bergen is the most populous county in NJ despite not having any large city.
