Whole foods in Newark is a tough call, plus Newark's economy could not support a store like this, where a gallon of milk $6.

i got a feeling that WF will turn into another inner city store where they got the grocery carts blocked off from the parking lot and theres bar in the windows and the store will be dirty and un organized, with cameras and store security everywhere, along with crappy customer service

The WF is downtown, not in the hood. There's an enormous college presence, office presence, and a growing market-rate residential presence. That's a lot different than the demographics in the outer wards; and the WF can attract more of that type of development. But even with all that said, there's more than a couple of grocers in Newark that aren't anywhere close to exhibiting those symptoms you list.

Good, so the shoplifters don't have to go to other NJ towns.

At least the Nutley Shop Rite will be less crowded where they bus them in. It will also put a lot less stress on our police department.

I don't think it has to be high-end. People just steal because they steal.
