Simply put, we need reform in this country. On a few accounts.
one problem is that people dont want government to tell people how to live and then they want government to solve problems that can only be solved by telling people how to live.
Have the police ever stopped a murder? They are supposed to serve and protect.
I'm as liberal as they come, but if the police can not do their jobs, then we should be allowed to protect ourselves.
The Supreme Court ruled some time ago the the police are not there to prevent crime and are not legally obligated to prevent citizens from being crime victims.
