Hey everyone! So we have to move by the end of this month , we currently live in union city, nj , but it seems nearly impossible to find a 2 bedroom apartment for $1250 that accepts pets in this area I have been seeing many apartments in that price range in newark and in jersey city though, but how bad is it in those cities? I am originally from the Bronx , and I am familiar with bad areas in NY , but not NJ. I am kinda scared with what people tell me, that you can't walk at night outside , that cars are always being stolen , very bad crime etc ....

I know they are both cities and like every city have their good and bad areas , but how bad is it really.
