Baptist Church in Middlesex County (New Brunswick, Livingston: college, living, outlet malls)

Hi all,

1st of I'm loving life in New Jersey thus far. I was a little shell shocked but so far my neighbors have been friendly and we've been eating very well

Now we're looking for a church. As an African-American family we are looking for a Baptist church, preferably one with a choir. If it's a distance away that's fine.

You Jersey folk are killing me with telling me things are far away. My neighbor was telling me about some outlet malls but she's like "There a drive, probably about an hour and a half"

Don't you people realize that in the South, especially in GA you can drive an hour and a half and still be in the same damn county My partner and I are still trying to understand your commuting time as it took us over an hour to get to and from work each day and it was less then 20 miles away.

There is one in Old Bridge off of Englishtown Road. Garden State Baptist Church on 5th and Park Avenue. Don't know if there's a choir, but that place used to be hoppin' on the weekends. I used to live around the corner. You can also look in New Brunswick-there are a lot of Baptist churches there. I know there is one on George Street closer to the Douglass College campus of Rutgers, but there are probably some on Livingston Avenue and other places within the city.
