keep in mind Monmouth county is kinda big...there's a difference in commute between Spring Lake or Sea Bright and Middletown/Holmdel.

true. spring lake and sea bright are nowhere near each other though.

my question was aimed towards the manasquan, brielle, sea girt, spring lake, wall, belmar, etc. area.

is middletown/holmdel considered a "Shore Point"?

Neither touches the Atlantic Ocean, so the answer is no in my opinion. Others may not agree.

Yes, I'm a couple of stops after Middletown, but I know someone who goes to Belmar.

I agree, but I just took the OP's question to mean eastern Monmouth County in general.

I am not in a shore town. I'm about five miles inland, but to my family in North Jersey, I live by the shore.
