I always figured they'd throw you in jail or perform garnishments if you continuously failed to pay child support. Go figure.

They do, but oftentimes there is nothing to garnish, then it becomes a circular thing because you get put in jail because you're not paying child support, but if you're in jail, you can't work, therefore you have no money to pay child support. There are a lot of folks out there who are destitute and either have children out of wedlock or get divorced, etc...and end up in these types of situations because they can't take care of themselves let alone others, but that's a whole other discussion.

Why am I not surprised that those who did not win the lottery are complaining about the guy who did?

Actually I was quite happy for him at first until stories like this hit the media
$29,000 sounds like he made no effort at all, has 5 kids, who do you think has been supporting them

All though with a jack pot that size I like it better when a group of co workers hit...versus one lone person.
Predidctions are he will be broke within 10 years if not sooner

Wow five kids? Bet they're all getting bombarded with letters from lawyers right about now
