Hi all,
My son got accepted in PDS. I commute to NYC, car is the only option for me.

What's the ideal location for me, I need to stay closer to PDS 2-8 miles and same time looking for some what decent traffic while going to NYC. Any suggestions?
Any one's kids went to PDS? Looking for school feedback as well. I also want to see if my son likes the school in his first year (we all are very positive but still I don't want to force him)

Budget is 700-900,000.

Thanks

Commuting to NYC - I would imagine your best option is to live in West Windsor or Cranbury that's close to the turnpike, and let your child ride the bus to PDS. If you want to be closer (like being able to drop off your kid on your way to work), with 700-900K, Cherry Valley @ Montgomery is right about 2 miles away (or less). PDS is a great school, and outside of the Lawrenceville school down the road it's the best option near Princeton I believe

Some of the local schools provide transportation to area private/parochial schools, Cranbury school district does not. I know my neighbours in WW sent their kids to PDS and had bus pick up but that was a few years ago.

With your housing budget why don't you live in Princeton?
