It's really amazing when poor people vote against their best interest.
Why is this amazing? Most of them ACT against their interest in their daily personal choices (drugs, alcohol, doing things out of order, having babies out of wedlock, amassing debt, evading reality, etc.) Why would they inconsistently choose wisely in politics?

Good point.
But still. All poor people can't be dumb. You'd think at least SOME of them would vote in their economic best interests.
Most businesses offer low-wage, poor quality jobs to poor people with no or few/lousy benefits.
And poor people are supposed to be grateful to get these crumbs.
Huh? Business offer jobs to people with skills to do them in a market subject to the laws of supply and demand. No one goes into business to "give poor quality jobs to poor people". And what is business? Simply a collection of PEOPLE.
You seem to not understand how the economy works. But this is indicative of a sheeple mentality of buying the propaganda of this administration.

No, I think all American citizens- including poor,working-,and middle-class people- should be entitled to the basics since they are living in the richest country in the world:
That includes housing, education, and health insurance.
I DON'T think these 3 things should be only affordable for the wealthy and upper-middle class.
