We have family friends in Wayne, NJ and just found out the 42-year-old husband needs a couple of very serious heart operations. We don't live in the area and are concerned and heart-broken for our friends, and trying to find ways we can help. If we can order some healthy, prepared meals delivered to their door, it's just one less thing for them to think about. I know there are national companies that do this, but does anyone know of a local service that delivers fresh, healthy meals for a family of 4 (two boys age 8 and 12). Or if you've had good experience with a national service, I'd be happy to hear that too.
I'd try Market Basket in Franklin Lakes. They have awesome prepared meals and deliver.
I love the Market Basket, but they are located approx 15 miles from Wayne, and I am not certain about transportation.
You can also try Corrados in Wayne. Just be careful about what you order as some of their prepared foods are not heart healthy. They have an amazing amount of prepared foods, all delicious!

The Market Basket is about 4 1/2 miles away from the Wayne Corrado's. It's a very straightforward trip too (make a right on Franklin Lakes Ave., turn left on Breakneck Rd./Berdan Ave. until you come to Corrado's). I often make trips hitting both places up (and the Wayne Trader Joe's).
Both are good suggestions for quality prepared meals. I think Corrado's would be quite a bit cheaper though (Market Basket's prepared foods can be expensive). Worth checking out both though.
Anothor option... while most of their prepared foods may not win any prizes, Shop-Rite has a wonderful home shopping/delivery service, and they often have coupon codes that cover (or sometimes even more than cover) the cost of the service and delivery. If you want to save a few bucks you can also pick the items up at the store, but I find the extra few bucks for the delivery so worth it.

I never realized MB was that close, I was going by google maps, and it gave the mileage between MB and Wayne as 15 mi. Either way you choose, you can't go wrong and will get good food. I know Corrodos has great seafood and fish.
Just a heads up, eatclean's service area is within 15 mi of Freehold , or there is an up charge- and the OP is looking for food in the area of Wayne nj, some 49 miles way.

True but the OP is looking for delivery service. Not looking to pick it up.
Anything from market basket will be appreciated. It is well know and has a great reputation in that area.
