Hi,

My wife failed her road test twice already. First she took it at Eatontown and she didn't fully stop at a Yield sign, because she said she was not familiar with the road they took her on and she was trying to make sure where exactly she had to turn. Second time was Kilmer Road (Edison), and the tester said her tires touched the shoulder (she said they didn't and that he failed her for no reason).

Now her third attempt will be next week at the the Bakers Basin testing area. Can anyone who is familiar with this area and the testers there please tell us what to expect? Anything you can share will be helpful. Even if it is that the test will be easy.

I know there are some other posts but those are several years old and wanted to know if anyone had some fresh insight.

Lastly do you think it be worth it for us to drive down there on a Sunday and have her drive around the course?

Thanks.

She will fail again if she makes a complete stop at a Yield sign. The only time a driver has to stop at a Yield sign is if there is oncoming traffic. That's the whole idea of a Yield sign.

Bakers Basin is easy. Along with driving on their 'road', she has to be able to parallel park and make a K turn. At least those requirements were in place when I took the test there.
