You didn't HAVE to get a driver's license. (A license is an official permission or permit to do, use, or own something, as well as the document of that permission or permit).

You could have chosen to walk, or ride the buses, etc. some people go their whole lives without driving. Did someone at Motor Vehicle hold a gun to your head when you accepted the driver's license?

Maybe it had something to do with obeying the traffic laws and not acting like your day was more important than everyone else's. Imagine that.

i shouldnt have to get permission to travel by car. a license is a way for the government to steal your rights and sell them back to you. i got a license because if i dont, the government will harm me. i accept that, i dont agree with it.

Someone has to pay for those helicopters that follow you around.

If it were a scam we would not keep getting paid by almost every seller to handle their sales. And most buyers to handle their purchase. If it were a scam everyone would be using the Interwebs, cutting us out, and happily buying and selling for 0% commission. Apparently it is not a scam, however, because we just keep getting paid by smart, free citizens who decide that we are worth it. You can think and emote whatever you want, but those opinions have no value, since value is determined by the market, and the market has spoken with regard to real estate agents in 2017, and the market has said we are worth it, and the market is what reflects REALITY.

I know you are triggered by this, but to quote the great Ben Shapiro: facts don't care about your feelings.

Absolutely correct. The government has no business licensing anything. It is a totalitarian perversion of Capitalism that we live with because most Americans don't know political philosophy from a hole in the ground, and are almost always ready to trade freedom for false security.
