Default Laurel Lake

I have heard very confusing things about Laurel Lake near Millville. Some say it's high crime--drugs, etc. Others say it's OK with a beautiful lake, decent prices etc.

Can anyone fill me in on the real details? Thanks much.....

emtjbrown is on a distinguished road
It's not so bad. Laurel Lake is getting better every day. I just don't like the fact that we have no sidewalks for the kids to ride thier bikes on. They are working on curbs also. Laurel Lake is better for young family's who are trying to get a piece of the american pie. If you are going to rent, you might want to save your money and just buy a place. A couple of people are buying alot of the property's here and are renting them out with just new paint. And they are tring to get 1,200 a month for a trailor with new paint. Save your money and buy a buildable lot.

Sounds like there has been much improvement since the last time I heard anything about the area which, to tell the truth, has been several years ago. The pics I see that are on realtor.com make it look pretty decent and in some cases, actually very appealing.
