Hello -

Need advice, suggestions, comments, etc... from nj natives. My husband will be doing his rotation at St Michael's hospital and we're looking to buy a house but not really sure where to start looking. Is there such a place in nj where the schools (elementary and hs) are excellent, safe, commute to st michael's hosp/ny/si is bearable, property tax is reasonable (i've read some places are high), good community, etc...

Thanks in advance for your reply!!! It's much appreciated!!!

Taxes, can't help you there, but a great place to start looking is Maplewood/South Orange. It is close to Newark, great schools and a wonderful community. In this area the houses are very affordable.

A rotation? That's only six weeks or so...Or is he doing his internship/residency?
