Correct. I have no need for an omelet that feeds 9 people or a turkey sandwich that is taller than I am.

its been a while since ive been to a place that i feel i should recommend to others. ive had plenty of good meals, but nothing that stands out so much. probably the most superior food ive had lately is the sushi at yumi in sea bright. we recently went to their new red bank location and while they kind of screwed up our reservation, the food was great.

im kind of tired of the traditional steak house concept (not that there is a good one of those locally anyway). a guy i was talking to recently spoke very highly of the butchers block in long branch.

looking for the best isnt really a priority at this point. of course, id never go to a diner if im looking for the best anything except for mediocre food.

River Palm Terrace is the go to steak house of NJ.

I go to one in Edgewater. There is really on one main Street in Edgewater. If you go to Fort Lee, and take that road down the cliff, you will see it on your right hand side.

Steaks are such a simple thing to cook that I usually prefer to make it myself at home

They dry age for a month in house and they cook with temps over 1000 degrees. If you have that setup in your kitchen, I would cook steaks at home too. Invite me.
