I love NJ!
I love that we can just pop over to NYC or Philly for a show, museum trip, shopping, people watching, eating...or whatever!

I love the beaches. All of them from Sea Bright down to Cape May. Each beach town has its own flavor, its own feel.

I love the farms and horse country in towns like Colts Neck, or Cream Ridge and many other towns up in North Jersey.

I love the diversity. No plain vanilla here! Different accents, cultures, foods...it's great. We don't live in a bubble here, that's for sure!

I love the historic towns with beautiful old Victorians and quaint downtown shopping, like Freehold Boro, Allentown, Ocean Grove, and many others.

I love the FOOD! Oh, do I love the food.

I love the four seasons. There's nothing like the feel of fall coming on, the smell of bonfires, the crunch of leaves under your feet...or the first snowfall...or the first spring blooms.....

So, what do you love about NJ? Let's hear it!!

I started a thread like this a while back but I'll try to chip in again here.

I love the little towns, and the shore, and the mountains. I truly believe you can find somewhere that suits you in this state no matter what your taste. I love how close so many things are (cities, mountains, lakes, shore).

I love the seasons. This summer has been awesome so far, ok, well, after that rainy June, but even that rainy June was nice in its own way. I love that we have plenty of water and rarely have to worry about that. Then the fall comes, which is just gorgeous. Even winter isn't that bad. The really bad weather only starts after Christmas usually and starts to let up in early March. And summer wouldn't be as beautiful without the winter anyway.

I love my town. It's hilly and green and full of trees and lakes and the river and it's quiet and you can live how you want to live. If you want to shop all day in Paramus, it's there, if you prefer to hike and spend time outdoors, it's right there.

Exactly. This is America people! Your ancestors did not struggle to come here, to sweat in crappy jobs for their entire lives, only for their grandchildren and great-grandchildren to become such a nation of whiners. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and do something about it!

Whining in debt socialism and unemployment? Maybe we need to wake up and grow some balls like our forefathers had. All I see on CNN is Michael's Neverland. Media is designed to channel our attention towards happiness while the devil works their magic.
