If I had grown up around people like that I would never have lasted as long as I did. I feel for you.

There are more guidos on LI than NJ

Honestly though

the italian kids of today are different from the italian kids from before

first none of them had really goofy haircuts for that time, and they did not color their skin orange

I grew up around here all my life, and when I was young I never remember seeing any of the older italian or jersey kids acting like that

Sure some had attitudes, and cursed, but it was not associated with being italian or anything, it was more associated with just being from the NYC Metro

And when I was older I do not remember any guidos, only wannabe skaters, and grunge kids in rich nabes

Does nutley and lyndhurst even have that many italian kids

I know those areas use to be like 90% italian, but I do not think it still is like that now

I do not think there are any towns in NJ were italians are dominant

Most towns are now really mixed
