I'm interested to see ALL generations here, so post your song and the year you graduated... or at least the decade! Throw in your Prom Songs (if you can remember) for giggles.

"Never Say Goodbye" BonJovi
"Crazy For You" Madonna
"Jump!" Van Hallen

many more too....

Jr theme: "Just Once" James Ingram
Sr theme: "Cherish" Cool & the Gang

"Never Say Goodbye" definitely takes me back to high school.
"The Theme to Mystic Pizza" was our prom song. I have no idea what it is. something like "Time to Remember", but I had never heard it before, and haven't heard it since.

I graduated in 1990, but we had this class in high school called "modern dance"... only we didn't learn very modern dance moves. So the following songs bring me back to senior year:

"The Amos Moses"
"The Hustle"
"The Bus Stop"

I still know the dance moves to all 3 of those songs, nearly 20 years later.

Class of 1987-

"Take on Me"
"And we Danced"
"Summer of 69"
"This is the Time to Remember" by Billy Joel - I remember hearing that on the radio a lot during my senior year and my first year of college.
Anything by Bon Jovi or Bruce was big of course.

Jr. Prom - "Always and Forever" (gag)
Sr. Prom - "Crazy for You"

Mostly anything by Journey, "Born in the USA" Bruce, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Police, Do They Know It's Christmas, We are the World, Scorpions, 1984 Van Halen, Heaven, Def Leppard, Under a Blood Red Sky, the whole Thriller album (I'm surprised none of you other 80's survivors mentioned that!), and speaking of survivor..well...Survivor (High on You, Eye of the Tiger)! But THE song for my friends and me is Boys of Summer by Don Henley.

Funny how just a few years makes a huge difference - I wasn't in high school when those came out so they don't make me think of HS AT ALL...
