Anyone go to this college? I wll be transfering there in the spring semester and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the school and how is parking for the commuter students?
Hi Jencoo22. I went to MSU and I loved it. It was a while ago and it's changed a bit. Parking was A NIGHTMARE when I went, but they've since built many lots, so I think it may have improved. I'm sure some more recent grads or students are out there and can help you. Good luck! Have you decided on a major?
Yea it's a good school, I know a few people that go there. I don't know about parking for commuters, but if you aren't in their parking system you don't have to pay the fines unless the tow your car(after numerous tickets).
I heard there's a parking garage and u have to pay alot. Parking is suppose to suck but its just as bad at any other state university. All i can say is register late classes if u can theyre more fun anyway.
Parking was a nightmare 30 years ago when I went, now my daughter is going there, still bad but........... they have so many buses she tells me she parks in the parking garage furthest away but never has to wait long for the bus to pick her up. Sheesh, I think we had maybe 2 campus buses on a good day when I went!! All in all, the school keeps growing and improving, and is very competitive to get into. Best of luck, it's a good school.

see, I don't find the parking to be THAT big of a nightmare. I mean yes you have to pay, but you can usually get a relatively ok spot. At least in my experience. Now William Paterson University (which is where I went for my undergrad work), THAT was horrible parking and still is apparently.
