I was going to post this!!! I grew up in Linden and have gone to all the Polish places here but they don't compare to Royal Warsaw. I'm Polish by the way so I know a thing or 2 about Polish food and I usually prefer my family's stuff over any restaurant but I must say that the Royal Warsaw was some of the best authentic Polish food I've ever had. Go there.
This thread makes me so hungry and really miss living in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn. Lomzynianka on Manhattan Ave was some of the best Polish meals I've ever had. Grab a few bottles of Lomza (BOYB), order a few things off the menu (every pierogie plate is magic, this place is VERY inexpensive) and just enjoy every second of it. Dang, I miss that.
Golden Eagle Delicatessen in Garfield was good when I lived in B.C. Also Homemade Pierogi on Main in Clifton
