Please help Me with Unemployment (sales, how much, office)

Ok, So i filed a Claim on the Computer a few weeks ago, yesterday i got 2 Forms in the mail.

One Is the Claim For benefits form, that has those questions on it, with the blank check paper at the bottom. and another paper that has a list of the jobs i had, and how much im going to get a week

So i called up the Number and Answered the questions on the phone, i May have accidently answered the last question " Did You Work During the Time claimed" question wrong, I thought that it mean Did i Work During the Times i claimed i worked at my jobs" But now that i thought about it i think it means did i work during the time that i claimed for unemployment


Anyway, Where do i go from here? ive been trying to call them all day and it says due to high call volume my call cant be connected


Whats the step after claiming for the week?

Whats the step after claiming for the week?

The only suggestion is to go to your local UI Office in person, bring both forms with you and hopefully they will ablle to help you in Person. Forget about calling on the phone and good luck.

Question: Comission Sales and Unemployment. Just went on unemployment. Have job offers as commision salesman. How does that affect your unemployment benefit? For the week you received the check or when you make the sale? Is there a dollor amount limit to the commission sale, ie: if the commision check is 100k do you lose your benefit for ever? etc.etc. I tried to call unemployment commission but can't get thru..too busy

Do you receive a 1099 or W2 for your commission sales? A 1099 may effect your benefit amount.

Just got off the phone with unemployment with a similar issue. Did not talk with a human but with the phone in claim service. I worked 1 day, my last during the first week that I claimed unemployment and the computer would not accept it, it wanted to say I returned to work. The phone in system accepted it without an issue

to wiley nj. Will receive 1099 for commision sales and can set the date when I receive the check.
