I live in Tabernacle now. Yes it is lovely, it's beautiful, nice and quiet, friendly people. But the commute from here to Piscataway would be a nightmare.

How did you make out? Tabernacle to Piscataway would be murder. I've driven it many times, going to Watchung from Browns Mills, used to take me about an hour and a half (to Watchung). My dad was being treated at Robert Wood in Brunswick, going the back way took us an hour and 15 minutes due to traffic on 18.

Google maps says Tabernacle to Piscataway is 57.9 mi – about 1 hour 15 mins. Depending on the time you leave, you also could be sitting in traffic on 18. You then have the reverse ride home, on a Friday, 7a gets backed up from Great Adventure.

Philly from Tabernacle wouldn't be that bad but it depends on what you consider reasonable. I'm in Browns Mills, takes me about an hour to get to the airport. According to Google maps, it would be 27.9 mi – about 48 mins

The problem you might have driving would be you are going the same place everyone else is and depending on the time you leave would probably hit rush hour traffic.

Tabernacle is a nice town, we also considered it. My son installs DirecTV and a lot of houses can't get it because of trees blocking the satellites. If you are used to having a lot of activity near you, you would be in for a shock with Tabernacle.

What are you looking to spend?
