The wawa near me is especially nice because there are mid-night workers there 24/7 buying something - so if i want a ice-coffee or sub suddenly at 2am i can go there. Kind of like Petros the truck stop. What are 24 hour diners that are good? Any grocery stores, liquor stores, clubs, or regular stores open 24hours?

Out where I live there isn't much open 24 hours. A couple of diners I think. Even the convenience stores close. When I lived in Essex County there were quite a few supermarkets, drugstores and convenience stores that were 24 hours. Most diners out that way never close.

Rest stops on the Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike are always welcome sites when you need them. Burgers at midnight? Why not!

Back in the day when I lived in Clifton, there were plenty of places to go that were open 24/7. From the local 7-11 or Krausers to the Tic Tac Diner on 3. Local Pathmark was open as well.

Atlantic City is open 24 hours! Just about everything! Food, booze, prostitution, crime, etc! It's amazing how different this area is culturally, from the remainder of NJ, as a result. People who live in Absecon, Brigantine, Pleasantville, etc, do so by a whole different set of rules, as a result.
