Default Rutgers Women Win!

Since I don't see anything here about this. I'll comment.

Great game by the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team! Rutgers beat Auburn, 80-52 tonight at the RAC.

Very strong and consistent showing. They seem to be coming together as a team at just the right time.

ESPN Article

Next up for the women is Purdue in Oklahoma City on March 29. For the bracket, go here.

Next up for the Women will be Purdue it looks like.

I agree; it is very, very frustrating to watch the Men's team stink up the court like they are now. That said, I have to say that a new arena with practice facilities and a real S&C facility would be a big help for both teams. To make that happen, the bonds need to be paid off privately with zero dollars coming from the taxpayers. In essence, exactly the way they are going about the Stadium Expansion.

I would miss the RAC, though.

Good for the women. The last time I really felt any excitement about the men's squad was in 2004 when we made it to the NIT final. Before that, the 2001 season when we were actually on the bubble was a blast, beat 4 ranked teams that year!!
