Default Hillsdale

My husband and I are considering a home near the high school (Pascack Valley) which goes to the Meadowbrrok ES. Just wanted to see if anyone knew about this 'side' of Hillsdale. I know the Smith side is considered 'better' by some, but I figured I'd see if anyone on here had any insight.

Thanks!

I think anywhere in Hillsdale is fine...I love the town. Both sides are great. Of course I would stay away from the flood zone, but that's on the Smith School side. The biggest homes are near Smith School on the west side of the parkway but big doesn't mean better. There is absolutely nothing better about the west side vs. the east side. I know the some of the teachers and families at Meadowbrook and I know it is a fantastic school.

Yes, Hillsdale is a great town. Doesn't really matter what part of town you live in.

I have friends whose kids go to Meadowbrook, and they have been really pleased. Actually, some feel that Meadowbrook is better than Smith. Truth be told, they both have wonderful reputations.

All of Hillsdale is nice except for that little flood area by the brook next to Kings. That is a huge flood zone there, has been for years.
