Hi,

I'm relocating with my family and was looking at Flemington/Raritan Twp. Does anyone have any info about schools in the area and/or general info about the area. Thanks.

The schools are good. I taught there for 15 years. Are you curious about the elementary schools? There are differences between them. Some are way better than others. Stick with Barley Sheaf and Copper Hill areas.
The HS is regional, which means, many towns feed into it. That has its pros and cons.

Thank you!

SJ3 - I would definitely like to hear about the differences in schools. I saw that Barley Sheaf had high scores. I think where we were looking the grammar school was Robert Hunter or something like that - is that not a good school? Any info is appreciated, the school system is very important to us as I have two little ones - my oldest starts kindergarten in September, and I am contemplating a third.

Misfit - thanks for the hospital information. I was wondering about that as well. What are the nearby hospitals?

Hunterdon Hospital in Flemington, is the one I have been to quite a bit. I have seen many of the doc's attached to the hospital in the doctors building there as well..I was impressed with all, both the hospital, and docs.

Thank you both. I check NJ Monthly for the high school rankings but I have a harder time finding information on the grammar schools.
