We haven't been in a couple years, but might try this year.
Kinda miss the fair thing as it's a passing of summer into FALL
I guess FALL is ok, but OLD MAN WINTER oh

Lots of stuff to do, mostly around eating I think. It can put a dent in your pocket book real quick...

We would go during the week and get in early, think that is the best time for us, should be cooler and not too cwowded.

FAVORITE FAIR FOOD DO like the roasted corn, but..$$.
Also, BBQ

SO, Happy trails,

HW

The state fair is boring.

The only reason why everyone is so pumped..... nothing else to do... blah.

I plan on going. I try to go every year, but I missed last year.

I think it's great fun, but I've only been once since it's 630 miles west of me.

Just wandering around, eating the great food, watching the entertainment at the Indian Village, Spanish Village and the African American Pavilion. Checking out the model train exhibit. Lots to see. I enjoy it and drive up from Santa Fe every year.

I don't think we will make it this year. My husband has to have surgery next week and will be laid up for a couple of months. I won't be able to leave him alone long enough to spend a day at the fair. We can make up for it next year.

We go every year and always find something new and different (and also seem to find a piece of art to buy).
