The South Market District people bought up some more land as well. Really good news, overall. With the Hospital, SMD, and Iberville, the city will be on fire.

What's your take. I know some people oppose it's construction as a waste of money and it being over sized.

Great news. The RPC is moving forward with plans to revamp Tulane Ave. in front of the hospital. They're going to make it 2 lanes + bike lane, with a neutral ground for left turns.

Don't forget about the Mid City market development on N Carrollton that will include a Winn Dixie, 5 guys, Panera, Office Depot, etc.

Oh yeah, and the Lafitte corridor is right around the corner too.

All good things for the hood.
