Anthony Bourdain could be the be a quintessential New Orleanian on paper. I watched the episode on Youtube and loved it. I'm more excited to be moving to Old Metry now. I'm going to be watching more of them soon, so in case you haven't seen it yet:

That was a good one. He's one of the few people who actually "gets it."

Old Metry?????

Bourdain really seems to love Louisiana. I wasn't a fan of his until I saw that episode of The Layover & now I watch him as often as I can.

I think thats due to his travels and alcoholism.

Yes I should be moving on Lake Ave near Metry Rd in September. I would be in the city but let's just say my rent is in the same state of existence as the Trump Tower.

I've always liked him, maybe because he's a food loving alcoholic like most of us.

Let me rephrase. When I say I wasn't a fan, I meant that I was unfamiliar with him before this episode.

That one is saved as one of my favorites on Youtube. You should also check out the New Orleans Bizzare Foods episode with Andrew Zimmern. You gotta pay 3 bucks for it but WELL WORTH IT!

Is it the episode where he goes to the farm and they have a wicked hog roast, using all parts of the pig?

You guys call it a 'hog roast' down there?

Nope. This is a brand new episode where they roast Stuffed Gators. Here's the link:
