I was being called for a 1 bedroom. The truth is, I'm giving up all hope but I'm fine with that.
Can I ask how long it took after your appeals to hear back from them about the waitlist? Since it seems like no one wants the 2500 1 bedrooms are they allowed to allot them to people on the waitlist just to fill them up? Because I wouldn't assume that they could turn them into market rate apartments.

LOL...I think at this point I should give up hope as well....because this waiting and not knowing game is really driving me up the walls. And, I've only been in the game for 2-3 weeks so far...I really don't know how everyone who's been the game for months was able to handle all the stress!! I have to hand it to you guys for hanging in there for so long
Haha yeah, my whole process took 7 months. I think the key is, despite the fact I really really wanted this apartment, is to just assume you won't get it. I truthfully never thought for a second I'd get a one bedroom apartment here, so I never really got too invested or stressed about it. But I do feel extremely lucky, and I've never been a lucky person. haha. There are so many steps where something can go wrong so just never get your hopes up too high. After all, it just comes down to the luck of the draw.
MHANY called today. HDC approved! Studio! Log# 2***. Soooooooooooooooo grateful. Glad as heck I stuck it out. Hang in there, guys. It's been exactly 2 weeks & 1 day since I was submitted for approval.

Yeah, at this point I'm pretty much figured there isn't anything left and I will be waitlisted....unless they come back again and say I was rejected again? Well, either way this whole process was certainly an eye opener. I'm also very jealous of all of you who made it in....LOL.
