Yes, Brooklyn isn't my neighborhood and not familiar with the borough...and thought this would be a great change for me and from hearing all the positives about the neighborhood I am extremely excited to see if I get in. Reading about what the developers are planning to do to the whole Atlantic yard project is just so exciting, if I don't get this one maybe I'll get the Pacific Park one instead but of course their amenities isn't as great as 461 Dean but I'll settle

I've always been in the Lower East Side area, but the building I live in currently is very run down and not the greatest living arrangements (neighbors) right now and the area has become very unaffordable for me

Log is 5xxx.

But the studio has no living room, correct?

So is it just a really big or fancy bedroom? I'm just confused as to why anyone would pay more for a studio than 1 bedroom, especially considering how nice the 1 bedroom I saw was! (16K).

Got a viewing of the studio next week, I guess we'll see!

That's not cool that you were shown a 1 bedroom and then tell you that they had none left!! That's what I'm not understanding....why are they showing people apartments and then tell them they can't have that and can only get a studio? Makes no sense and very aggravating.

Yeah it was really unfortunate. I guess the good part of it is that I get to still be in the running for a rent stabilized apartment in a luxury building. Gotta look on the bright side - people would kill to be in this situation
