My income qualifies for a 1 or 2 bedroom, I would love the 2 bedroom for my daughter and me but I am grateful for either or... are we allowed to make a suggestion as to which one we want?

At the interview you can say you prefer the 2 bedroom but ultimately you get what you get.
If they are in the beginning process they may still have both available. Once they get people accepted and in, then you basically gets whats left.
And just and FYI I heard that log numbers are only used as identification purposes.
We've succeeded the biggest obstacle. which was getting picked.
Now as long as you have all paper work to eliminate a delay, they will forward your info to the city and then just a waiting game for a call back to say "you've been approved"
Word of advice, it may take 2-4 weeks or 2-4 months, However make sure you have one month's security and deposit.
Waiting is the worst and its gonna be a long wait too. Ive been though this process before. And the building doesnt look completed yet. So if were chosen we probably wont be there till next year sometime. Crosses fingers we all get approved.
Thanks everyone! Also does anyone know the story behind the public assistance letter? It's marked with a big X on the document list but I'm not receiving any PA....is it okay just to say I'm not on it?
This is my first time doing a lottery I went to my interview yesterday and I THOUGHT I had everything but I was missing 3 things, word of advice make sure you have COPIES of everything you want to give them because if you give them your originals you won't get it back, I had originals of those 3 things and now I'm faxing it to them but you need (at least this is what they took from my spouse & I )
LAST 6 months bank statements
Utility bill (even if you aren't the one paying)
Copies of your 2015 tax return AND w2's
Copies of your social
Copies of your birth certificate
Copies of your ID
25$ money order
Notarized letter from the head of household where ever you're staying
Copies of your last 6 paystubs
When you get there you have to sign your name a gajillion times
The lady was really nice she told me to expect an approved or denied answer within 7 weeks she said the building should be done the beginning of next year (whenever that is)
All I know is I'm nervous and I HATE my living conditions I'm staying with family and I feel like I live in a homeless shelter and I work so hard and desperately need my own space, if it's gods will cool if not I have to keep trying, I wish everyone good luck and even though I don't know much I'll be happy to answer any questions you have
