Hey, I’ve been reading a few postings looking for answers but haven’t read one describing the situation I’m in personally. I’m currently in a DV shelter, I went in through PATH but had to meet with NOVA so it’s not DHS it’s under the URI umbrella. I had my interview for NYCHA on 4/19/23 and was certified on 4/21/23 but haven’t had any movement since. I’m on the Brooklyn wide waitlist for a development, I was certified for a 3 bedroom. I just want to know how long before you all were upgraded from certified to selected? I know it’s a waiting game to move in but I’m reading everyone post basically saying they’re waiting 3-6 months for specific developments and I still didn’t even get to the selected part

No, please don’t let my situation discourage you because honestly nobody is the same. I’ve spoken with people who made quicker progress than me

Yes, speak it into existence. I’m trying to stay positive but the process is so discouraging if I’m being honest
