So one day I'm walking through Queens and I think this was in October, and it felt warmer there than in Manhattan, so I took my jacket off. Then later on when I got back to Manhattan, I put my jacket right back on because it felt colder there.

Anyways, after noticing that, I was bored and I went on my iPhone and checked the temps for Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan on the weather app thing.

Today in Queens it's supposed to be 46, in Manhattan, 48, and in Brooklyn, 47. Is the weather app screwed up or is the theory people have about Manhattan being colder since it's an island true? (Yes, it's warmer today there, but a few days ago I checked and Queens was 5 degrees warmer which was strange.

I don't know about that. Thing that I heard was that Manhattan was supposed to be warmer because the high rises and skyscrapers block out or buffer the winds.

Of course the weather could be warmer/colder in Manhattan/Queens/Bklyn, etc... Just like it could be pouring down rain in one area (Queens) and bright/sunny in another (Manhattan).

It tends to be warmer in Manhattan than Queens from my personal experience.

Right. Sometimes one borough will be 5 degrees warmer than another. It's really cool.
