Has anyone removed the clothesline/ladder from their yard? Did you do it yourself or hire someone? How much did it cost? Ours is 2 stories high and would finally love to get it out of our yard. Thank you in advance!

Are we talking about a utility pole? If so, first be sure there are no telephone lines still attached. There are still parts of the city where they have not buried them.

If the pole belongs to you(not the city)you can rent tools, saws etc. from home depot, simple projects like these can be done pretty quick and easy with the right tools.
