This. I would use that "sleeping area" to store all that clutter, which would free up the other space for a day bed. I also agree with the murphy bed idea. I would get myself one of those asap if I had to do studio living.

- For starters, I would get rid of all those bulky storage shelves and that huge computer - she has a studio for writing, so she should do her work there.

- use the sleeping loft place for storage - she has a bunch of storage boxes (what are in them?) - put them in the loft.

- have a murphy bed, which would get pulled down at night, or use a daybed for sleeping and sitting.

I was thinking almost the same thoughts about the loft and getting rid of alot of the boxs and other thing ..

Also the computer can be downsized to more compact unit to double as a tv set up in the place

Also get rid of the cloths and have a basic wardrobe and that you can mix and match with the other items to make a complete wardrobe

I say move, it is ridiculous to live like that. With what we have today in our world who in thier right mind would want to live like a prisoner in a jail cell, because that's what it looks like to me.

She is way over paying for that space, she calls home. Personally, I think she needs to get her head examined.

The question is not, where do you find a 90-square-foot apartment in the city. The question is, why would you even try to look for one?

I agree, what would make anyone want to live in the city that bad that they would live like that.
I rather live a bit away and live like a human being instead of a rat in a cage.
