You're not alone! I've also got one of the much older, 10 (or maybe it was 15) cent tokens--thin as a dime. Tokens were fun to collect. Three cheers to any city that still uses them.

way cool, I started with my first token for my first full time job back in the stone age, circa 1979. Yes, I admit it, I played with Dinasours.

i wish we can still use tokens, there were easier to use then this stupid card that always ask you to swipe again and again and again until it eats my fare

I'd have to agree that tokens were much easier to use. I miss them. The only good thing about the metrocard is the bus-to-train transfer capability... can't get on the train with those old-school 10" long slips of paper they used to call bus transfers lol. Can't get on the train with the bus transfers they have now either... =/
