MY husband is a doctor and he just got a job in Staten island,NY
We need to move asap, but I'm sure what areas are good to live in with 2 young kids. Every place my husband has looked is not a great neighborhood.

If anyone please tell me good neighborhoods in Staten Island i would really appreciate it
thanks

If you're used to the traffic in LA, you'll be *just* fine on the SI Expressway

If he's a doctor working on SI, I assume you'll need or would like to be close to the only to hospitals on the island: SIUH or RUMC. I prefer the north shore. There are lovely homes in West Brighton. Also, Grymes hill, Silver Lake are lovely as well. If you have children I would recommend private school after 6th grade.

In my day, Todt Hill was THE neighborhood. In the south shore, nice areas are Annadale, Huegunot, Tottenville and Princess Bay. The south shore has great public schools.
