Not really. My office has a "no shorts" policy. It's the same.

It's interesting that the original poster's interviewer told her not to wear pants. Just this month, there have been several articles in the fashion sections of magazines about the return of the pants suit.

As soon as Tory Burch or whoever shows up in a pants suit, the recruiter will be changing her tune.
