We're visiting the city in a few weeks and H.P. exhibit is on our list of things to see. Can we buy our tickets when we get there or should I spend the extra fees and buy them online in advance. Know of a good time we should go. This will be our first visit there with our 2 kids so we will have to navagite around the city on our own. Are there kid-friendly places nearby so we can grab a quick bite to eat before or after?
Other places we plan to visit(not on the same day) are the museum of natural history, times square, rockerfella center, FAO, Dylan's candy bar, serendipity, & central park. Oh, and get a hot dog from a hot dog stand We will be there a few days. Any advice on which to see together on the same day or where to go first? cheapest parking garages nearest our destinations to start out our day. Thanks so much for any help, this will be our only visit and want to make sure we see all we can.

A close family member just went to the exhibit on Friday. They had a great time, if you are really into the movies. However, it was pricey @$26 per person. They bought their tickets just before they went and didn't have any problems. They went through everything very slowly and it took them 2 hours. If you want the audio thing for the tour, that's another seven bucks and I was told it wasn't necessary. It's in the Time Square area. There are plenty of places for the kids to eat. There was a recent thread about buying food from the street vendors, including hot dogs. I would skip that. I don't drive into Manhattan so I can't suggest a garage. You could certainly squeeze in a show on the same day you see Harry Potter. The other places that you wanted to see on your list are all clsoe to the Harry Postter exhibit except for the Museum of Natural History which is on the upper westside.
