i have to come up this weekend, last minute notice, to buy and then drive a car back down to Charleston for my GF.
Flights were astronomical this late in the game, Amtrack takes way way too long and renting a car one way is just way too much of a hassle.
So i figured i would finally try out the Chinatown bus as i have never had the pleasure.
So how bad is this thing?
Let me preface by saying im not very high maintenance person, i can sleep anywhere with a few ibuprofen pm's and in no way worried about actual safety issues regarding other passengers.
I will have a travel partner to keep me company and would be taking the night bus which leaves charleston at 10pm and arrives on Canal at 10 am.
I just need an affordable and relatively fast way to get to NYC and this seemed like a viable alternative,any other suggestions are more than welcome.
Otherwise what are your general experiences doing more than 3 or 4 hours on this bus?
