Never been to Chicago, but my friends/relatives tell me its nice. Philly, Boston, and if I really had to DC might be an option. San Francisco is nice but is too out there for me. Los Angeles is like a huge suburb with bad traffic.
Outside of America I'd definitely live in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Well, I love Chicago but it doesn't seem like there is enough natural beauty ouside of it. Does anyone know if there is any goood hiking or outdoorsy things to do ouside of the city? It seems lie the possibilities in NY are endless. So, I think Boston ofers the most, second to new york (In the States)
well, i was talking about cities in the united states. I don't know if there is any city like new york in the states. its one of the most or probably the most unique city in the us. Its a one of a kind city. the closest is probably chicago but it doesn't have enough population to be like new york. may be if it had 3 to four million more people then it might be like new york.
I could probalby live any other city in the us and find some other city close to but not new york.
I'd have to live in-and-around the suburbs of NYC. No other US city comes close. Zilch.
Zero, nadda.
Chicago is like a quarter of NYC's excitement and energy and size.
San Fran has got a bit of the Wall St tip goin' on.
Philly can't even compare, nor can Boston.
All the other cities in the US just pale in comparison.
I'd have to choose Westchester/LI/Jersey/CT areas.
San Francisco, without a doubt! I love the idea of being in an urban area with easy access to hiking and natural beauty.
After that, I'd say San Diego or Seattle.
If I chose to stay on the east coast, I'd consider going back to DC where I lived for 6+ years.
