It's the Kalahari, apt. B704, listed at 299k.

Your seller bought for only 140k in 2009. Now THAT was a good deal.

I was being tongue and cheek but the point is that it's teetering on intrusive to post the apartment number that someone [will] live in- despite the sale being public information.

The world of 116th Street has changed a lot in 3 years.
But streeteasy shows that of the last 257 sales in the building the price have averaged $599/sq. ft., and thus a 500 sq. ft. apartment would go for $299.5K.

Thing that the buyer SHOULD be aware of is that apartment B804, which if crescent is correct is directly above, went for $199K only this year. So there seems to be a devaluation of the smallest apartments. This could have been a good argument for a much lower price than $280K. Of course we have no idea of the condition of the two apartments.

Traveler,
Do you think you can offer less or is your offer writ in stone?

Like jad,
I am very wary of getting too particular about information I divulge because there are risks to divulging too much.

I'm not sure what you guys are smoking. The apt above was sold for 298k~

Prices in the building have doubled and some have close to tripled. The entire area has many new developments and it shows no sign of slowing down. There's a new construction going on on the same street. Another huge condo.
