Do they give a damn?

A female aquaintance of my bf was assaulted by a male cop a few days ago. The male cop was ego trippin, and felt intinidated by a 4'11 100pd female for some reason. I dont(or cant) give all details, cuz shes planning on going to the media and press soon(since no one else will listen). No one in the 84th precint(where the cop works) will tell her what his name is. They say she needs an attorney to subpenoa that information

I find it funny that if a cop ask me my name, and I dont tell him, I'd get arressted.

Long story short, she started talking about suing the nypd and city. Its funny how the SIX bs charges they had against her(including assaulting a officer), were DISMISSED. Seems like someones tryin to keep somethin quiet.

So she went to another precint, and told them she wanted to press charges against the officer. They said "you have no bruises, so we cant do anything"

TIME OUT!!

So if I was raped, with no brusing, I'll get turned away?
If my husband is abusing me, with no brusing, no one will believe me?
Is that how it goes?

Cuz im pretty sure if I ***** slapped an officer, my face and information would be PLASTERED all over nyc.

It wouldn't matter if you were beaten to within an inch of your life, the cops still wouldn't do a thing to one of their own.

News flash - this has nothing to do with the NYPD, specifically. It is the way women in that position are treated.

Isn't it true that NYC cops have a reputation for not tolerated even the slightest bit of back talk or mouthing off to? I am not saying that your friend was guilty of this, it is just that this topic reminded me of something I used to hear. Are cops in the city less tolerant of disrespect and not so hesitant to arrest people? Is that true?

Only if you were raped by a cop.
