Looking for NY Affiliate Broadcast Recordings (with commercials) from 77-82
I was wondering if there were any collectable stores and such downtown that carry such items. I'm looking for late night (Fri-Sat) evening tv on any of the NY independent stations (WPIX, WNEW and WWOR) from 77-82 also must have commercials. Without commercials, it's useless. :-) I especially want independent station stuff… but I'll take WABC, WNBC and WCBS if its in the 77-83 timeframe.
Kefir King, do you have any old TV recordings (specifically from local NYC stations) among your collection?
There's a second life for stuff like that (on YouTube). I myself have digitized TV recordings, both from my childhood and which I've acquired, and uploaded them there.
VHS's of movies and shows however, not so much, unless its something obscure that hasn't been released on another format.
I have about 50 Milk Crates full of VHS tapes. Mostly NYC and recorded from TV from the 70's thru the 2000's If interested in buying entire collection, please contact me
I would LOVE if you looked thru some of your tapes and see if you have some things??
I am looking for
The Goonies - 1985
Back to the future 2 and 3 (I found Part 1 @ salvation army one time (Recorded from HBO (4/1/87))
Poltergeist - 1982
If you have these recorded OFF ANALOG CABLE,it would be awesome!!!! (All have been compromised on thier official VHS tapes)
I would also love getting some ALL IN THE FAMILY episodes!!!!! (And Jeffersons) in analog!!!
If you have a chance would you please look and let me know?
Danke!!
